Bolted Flange Connections (Using Manual Torque Wrenches) – Category I: Assembler / Bolting Technician
Duration: 1 day (8 hours), concluded with a practical examination.
Who Should Attend
This training is intended for personnel involved in the assembly and disassembly of bolted connections using manual torque wrenches, e.g., on new construction sites or during maintenance of existing pipelines, transmission lines, tanks, and distillation columns.
Standards
The course is conducted in accordance with PN-EN 1591-4:2014-02 requirements.

Note
- It is possible to combine Category I and II training into a single course.
- We have our own trailer equipped with an assembly set for practical exercises.
Location: The training can be conducted anywhere in Poland.
Educational Objective
Training for personnel performing flange connections aims to teach the correct execution of leak-tight flange connections in pressure and hydraulic systems.
Learning Outcome
Participants will acquire practical skills in assembling and disassembling bolted flange connections.
Verification of Learning Outcomes
Achievement of learning outcomes is assessed
through a written test (after the theoretical part) and a practical exam.
We have our own mobile trailer equipped for training.
It is possible to organize training at another pre-agreed date.

Who Should Attend
This training is intended for individuals who:
- are involved in the construction of new pipelines or the operation of existing pipelines, transmission lines, tanks, distillation columns, etc., particularly those supervising the assembly, disassembly, or tightening of bolted connections in pressurized systems during operation.
- Wish to acquire new knowledge or expand their skills in bolted connections where a faulty connection could pose a risk to human health, safety, or the environment.
- Already hold a Certificate of Completion for Category I (Assembler / Bolting Technician).
Course Description
The training program complies with the requirements of the standard:
Flanges and their joints – Part 4: Verification of personnel competence for assembly of bolted
connections in pressure systems of critical infrastructure.
The course consists of two parts:
- Theoretical part: 6 hours
- Practical part: 2 hours per group
All activities are conducted under the supervision of a qualified trainer.
Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate.

The training can be conducted at any location in Poland.
