- Environmental classification according to ISO 12944; categories of atmospheric, water, and soil corrosivity
- Protection of steel structures against corrosion – selected methods, including coating, anodic, and cathodic protection
- Principles of structural design in terms of durability and effectiveness of anti-corrosion protection
- Surface preparation methods
- Types of paints and anti-corrosion systems
- Overview of paint application methods
- Climatic requirements in anti-corrosion works
- Common coating defects – types, causes, prevention methods, and repair techniques
- Tests and inspections to verify surface preparation before applying anti-corrosion coatings; acceptance criteria
- Testing and inspections of paint coatings; acceptance criteria
Practical Training
- Tests and inspections to verify surface preparation before applying anti-corrosion coatings
- Tests and inspections of coating systems – both non-destructive and destructive methods
Exam
Theoretical part + Practical part
Upon passing the exam, participants receive a certificate.
